I have to tell you a story. This is my story, and I love it!
I went away this past weekend with a group of women. These women are who I consider “my tribe” “my people”. They are all easy to get along with, like minded, have similar goals and similar morals. We found each other through our love for essential oils, chemical free lifestyles and wanting to make the best of our lives by living as organically as possible…
We are all at different stages of our lives. Some have young children, some still to start a family and others with young adults, yet we come together with passion and drive to work together as a group who are there for one another.
We decided to call ourselves “The Joyful Frankies”. We worked out this name by getting our essential oil bottles out and firstly seeing which ones resonated with us that day and which ones sounded good together! Joyful is because we really do have a great time together and we have a blend called “Joy” in our range of essential oils. Frankies is the short version of “Frankincense” and, well… everyone loves frankincense!
Young Living is the essential oil company we have chosen to work alongside with. Not one of us took this decision lightly! I for one researched for over 6 months before deciding which oils I wanted to use in my home. I tried different brands and different companies… most of us did!
My point is…
It really does matter who you work with! I couldn’t imagine having to work this closely with someone who didn’t have similar visions and values as me. Not necessarily the same interests, nor the same age, but the same kind of person!
If you (like me) love to be with like minded people then find your tribe! You can find them on social media, in your local area, sporting clubs or the kids school! It’s endless… Not to mention the best and most effective way is to put it out to the universe and they will come!
